Man arrested for Wednesday morning stabbing
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A 31-year-old man is in custody after a Wednesday morning stabbing.
The Topeka Police Department says the suspect of a Wednesday morning stabbing was found in the 1900 block of SE Adams shortly after it was called to SE 10th Ave. and SE Branner Trfway. around 9:35 a.m.
TPD said Sean A Coble, 31, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee Co. Department of Corrections for aggravated battery.
According to TPD, the victim and suspect are known to each other and the incident is believed to be domestic.
Emergency crews respond to report of stabbing in East Topeka
Emergency crews responded to a report of a stabbing Wednesday morning in East Topeka.
Crews found the victim suffering from an apparent stab wound to the foot around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday near S.E. 10th and Branner Trafficway.
Initial reports indicated the woman was injured by someone she knew.
The woman’s injuries weren’t considered to be life-threatening.
An American Medical Response ambulance transported the woman to a local hospital with a police unit following close behind.
