Crash early Monday shuts down traffic on busy East Topeka street

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A single-vehicle crash early Tuesday that shut down a busy East Topeka street resulted in only minor injuries, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 6:11 a.m. Tuesday at S.E. 21st and Adams.
A silver Toyota Sienna minivan ended up partially on a center median on S.E. 21st just west of Adams. The minivan came to rest facing northwest.
Authorities said the crash was the result of a medical issue and that no other vehicles were involved.
Westbound lanes of S.E. 21st just west of Adams remained closed for about an hour as crews responded to the scene.
Traffic was allowed to proceed through the area along eastbound S.E. 21st.
There were no immediate reports of anyone requiring ambulance transportation to the hospital.
